YDG has returned. After many months of sabbatical after his hit drama "Do as you wish" and his box-office hit "wild card", YDG has finally supplied music lovers with another album. His new release, to say the least, was worth the wait.

His hit song "Chung Choon" is the strongest point of the album. The soulful sound of his voice combined with NaNa's high pitched vocal is the perfect mix of hi and lo. On another track, old-timer Lee Hyun Woo is featured and brings in a raspy, inspired hook.

In Travel, YDG tries to encompass all different aspects of hip-hop. There are some love songs here, some expression songs, some "f*ck you" songs; the whole deal is here. His beats are nicely done, although some of them seem very familiar...

All in all, the newest release by Tyrone Yang should be a hip-hop hit. Truthfully, it is a much more wide-ranging, meaningful album that Eun Ji Won 3. YDG breaks some new ground in hip hop, rather than stealing styles from everyone else. This is a must-buy for any korean hip hop fan, especially for hiphopers that follow the Movement crew.
