The race for first place amongst the Wednesday and Thursday dramas is hot. "The Equator Man" is running the lead but "The King 2 Hearts" and "The Rooftop Prince" are catching up fast. This is because the three dramas have a degree of completion and distinction beyond expectations and the levels of support have been dispersed.
According to AGB Nielson Media Research on the 3rd, KBS 2TV "The Equator Man" rated 14.7%.
"The Equator Man" started standing firm in first place since the episode on the 18th of April for five episodes in a row. MBC "The King 2 Hearts" and SBS "The Rooftop Prince" are competing intensely for the second place.
"The King 2 Hearts" stood in 2nd place with 11.3% and "The Rooftop Prince" stood in 3rd place with 10.3%. Last month, "The Rooftop Prince" preceded "The King 2 Hearts" with 11.3% to 10.7% on the 26th of April but now the tables have turned.
"The King 2 Hearts" also preceded "The Rooftop Prince" on the 25th of April but fell to 3rd place in just a single episode. The two dramas are neck to neck and it's hard to tell which one has the superiority.
Having started at the same time on the 21st of March, "The Equator Man" has been running 1st place since mid-drama and now the 2nd place is open to the remaining two.
