62nd Anniversary of the Korean War

Today is a day of remembrance for all the veterans and their families that made sacrifices for South Korea during the Korean War.

This day marks the 62nd anniversary of the start of the devastating conflict that left families grieving. and the country divided in half.
The war started when North Korea infiltrated the 38th parallel in the early hours of June, 25th 1950 and ended three years and 32 days later with a ceasefire agreement.
Sixteen nations fought alongside South Korea during the war including United States, Canada, Turkey, Britain and Australia.
