Top actor Kim Nam-gil, 29, appears as a dashing Army recruit in recent photos.

A snapshot of the actor has been posted on the official website of the Army training camp. Kim in the photo shows off his masculine physique, his right fist raised with an energetic and playful grin.

The actor joined the army, July 15 upon finishing shooting the SBS miniseries "Bad Man". Hundreds of avid fans all across Korea, Japan, and Taiwan saw their beloved celebrity off. Kim is currently receiving 4-week entry training at a military camp in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province.

He is scheduled to be discharged from military service on July 14, 2012.

Kim made his acting debut on MBC in 2003. He was acclaimed for his outstanding performances in television series and films including "School 1", "My Name is Kim Sam-soon", "Goodbye Solo", "Queen Seon-deok", "Public Enemy Returns" and "Bad Man".


'입소' 김남길, 씩씩한 훈련병 모습 공개

배우 김남길(29)의 씩씩하고 늠름한 훈련병 모습이 공개됐다.

현재 충남 논산 육군훈련소에 입소해 4주간 기초 군사훈련을 받고 있는 김남길의 사진이 20일 육군 훈련소 온라인 홈페이지를 통해 공개됐다.

공개된 사진 속에서 김남길은 군복을 입고, 훈련소 동기들과 함께 오른 주먹을 불끈 쥔 채 씩씩한 모습을 뽐내고 있다.

한편 김남길은 지난 15일 대만, 일본 등 해외 팬과 국내 팬 300여 명의 뜨거운 배웅을 받으며 입대했다.
지난 13일 출연중인 SBS 미니시리즈 '나쁜 남자'의 촬영을 서둘러 마치고 입소한 김남길은 기초 군사훈련을 받고, 공익근무요원으로 23개월간 군 복무한다. 2012년 7월 14일 전역예정이다.

한편 김남길은 2003년 MBC 31기 공채 탤런트로 데뷔했다. '학교1', '굳세어라 금순아', '제 5공화국', '내 이름은 김삼순', '굿바이 솔로', '선덕여왕', '나쁜 남자'등의 드라마와 '하류인생', '강철중: 공공의 적', '미인도', '폭풍전야' 등의 영화에 출연하며 사랑받았다.
