Actress Kim Hyeon-joo [Double M & The H Entertainment]
Actress Kim Hyeon-joo will make her comeback to the small screen, after a year and eight month hiatus, in a new MBC weekend drama, according to her agency on Friday.
Kim will play the lead female in the upcoming drama tentatively titled "Twinkle Twinkle", about a success story of a woman whose life is turned upside down due to someone else's mistake.
The drama will begin shooting in January and will premiere after current series "Gloria", starring Bae Doona, finishes its run.
Kim made her debut in a music video for singer Kim Hyun-chul and since appeared in numerous dramas such as "Sangdo" (MBC, 2001), "Glass Slipper" (SBS, 2002), "To Marry a Millionaire" (SBS, 2005) and "The Partner" (KBS, 2009).
She also had roles on the big screen including "Star Runner" (2004) and "Shinsukki Blues" opposite actor Lee Seong-jae.
