Actress Kim Ji-woo donated her hematopoietic stem cells.
According to her management Namu Actors, Kim Ji-soo donated her hematopoietic stem cells those who was histiocompatibile (HLA) with her and suffering from blood tumor.
"She didn't want to let it be known that she did so. However, word got out as she was seen going back and forth from the hospital".
Having promised several kinds of donations in 2005, she only was able to keep her promise after 6 years as the chances of finding the right patient was one out of several millions.
