Actress Ryu Hwa-young in the Journey to Find Her True Color

Korea's popular fashion magazine Grazia revealed a photoshoot and a short interview with actress Ryu Hwa-young.

 Ryu Hwa-young have been rising as a competent actress with few of her recent works such as the drama, "Father is Strange" and "Age of Youth" series. In the "Age of Youth" series, her character, Gang Yi-na have gotten a lot of attention with her blunt, straightforward charm. In the "Age of Youth 2", it was planned that she will just make a special appearance on the first episode, but due to her character's popularity, she has made couple more special appearances in the drama.

As for her next step in her career, she was beyond excited for the drama, "Mad Dog" which will be aired next week. In the drama, she plays the character Jang Ha-ri, the sexy former gymnast who's now a part of the insurance fraud investigation team. She shared her enthusiasm towards her new character and the drama as she said, "The other day, I was strapped to the wire for the first time ever to film an action scene. It was terrifying at first but also fun. It is so fun to be at the filming scene".

Actress Ryu Hwa-young is known for her tom-boyish and down-to-earth personality in real life. When she was asked if she'd be interested in dangerous villain role, she said, "That would be great. I'm waiting for it. There's still so many different genres I've yet to try and I'm on the process of finding my true color. There's a lot I want to challenge myself into". As she answered this question, her eyes were full of conviction and it is obvious that she is taking her career very seriously.

Actress Ryu Hwa-young is growing brighter with each character she takes in as her own and she will only continue to grow even brighter as a first-rate actress in the near future.
