The Ryoo brothers' effort was honored with the grand prize at 2004's Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival. In the movie Ryu Seung Bum portrays Sang-hwan a policeman who wishes to bring justice to the world. However, the harsh reality looks a bit different – he is way too powerless to protect mankind and even a a low-class gangster can defeat him effortlessly. By coincidence he has an encounter with The Seven Masters one day who intend to train him to turn into the hero Murachi and to join Eui-jin, an Arachi, to protect the world. While all this happens, Evil Lord Heug Un waits for an opportune moment and manages to escape from his prison. Can Sang-hwan become Murachi in time to team up with Eui-jin to take on the threat of Heug Un?

The film opens with five of the Seven Masters, bemoaning the fact that they've got no new disciples to learn the hidden arts. You can tell the tone of the movie immediately: several of the Masters are wearing daggy tracky dacks, and one smokes continuously. This movie does not take itself too seriously.

When we meet the two leads, they too confound our expectations of how these things should work. Eui Jin (Yoon So-yi) is a convenience store assistant and freelance thief-taker whose pretty face often wears an expression of withering contempt. Sang Hwan (Ryoo Seung Bum) is a hapless police officer in frantic pursuit of the same thief, and seems to have "Doofus" tattooed all over him.
