Its Wednesday and that means its time for our celebrity news segment with Michelle Kim. She's here with news of weddings, break-ups and a few musical awards.

Hello Michelle

[Reporter : ] Hello Conn-young

So what do you have for us today[Reporter : ] Today, I'll tell you about the surprise marriage of two Hollywood s tars, an award for one of the Beatles and a new s tar on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Take a look.

The co-s tars of last summers film Green Lantern", Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, tied the knot last Sunday in South Carolina. The couple had been dating for about a year. Reynolds was previously married to Scarlett Johansson for two years until the couple split in late 2010. This is the first marriage for Lively, whose latest film was Oliver Stones "Savages".

Sir Paul McCartney was given France's highest public distinction for his contribution to music in Paris last weekend when he received the Legion of Honor, ., from President Francois Hollande. Other entertainers who have received the award include Liza Minnelli, Lenny Kravitz, Laurence Olivier and Miles Davis.

Moving on, Johnny Depp was seen on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival. Depp said he was there to support Peter Jacksons documentary West of Memphis". The film centers on the case of three men convicted of killing three 8-year-old boys in Arkansas in 1993. The case has generated several other documentaries and an outpouring of support from celebrities who believe the three are innocent.

And lastly, Walter Koenig, who is best known as Ensign Pavel Chekov, has become the final S tar Trek cast member to receive a s tar on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The s tar is next to that of fellow "S tar Trek" castmate George Takei.

Wow, what is it with the sudden marriage[Reporter : ] Well, I guess you can be the judge. He split with Scarlett Johansson in December 2010 but their divorce wasn't finalized until July 2011. Then, in Ocotober of that year he s tarted dating Blake Lively. It hasn't really taken him that long to move on from his previous relationship, but I guess sometimes love does come sooner than you expect. In any case, now that he's happily married, I wish him and his new bride all the best.

I do, too. And now moving on, you have more stories for us, right[Reporter : ] Yes, I do. Now, we'll take a look at the MTV Video Music Awards and the first post-apology appearance by Kristen Stewart, who cheated on her "Twilight" co-s tar with the director of her recent film, "Snow White and The Huntsman".

The MTV Video Music Awards aired last Thursday, with lots of s tar power from performances by Taylor Swift, Frank Ocean Pink and more. The biggest winner of the night was the British boy band One Direction, which took home three prizes, including best new artist and best pop video. The win comes just 6 months after the band's U.S. debut. They performed their latest song "One Thing" for a crowd of screaming fans at the Los Angeles ceremony. Rihanna went home with the video of the year award for "We Found Love".

Johnny Depp wasn't the only s tar on the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival. All eyes were on "Twilight" s tar Kristen Stewart, who attracted the most media attention there. She was at the festival to promote her film "On the Road" and went on to sign autographs for a crowd of cheering fans. This was her first media appearance since she apologized for cheating on her long-term boyfriend and "Twilight" co-s tar Robert Pattinson with film director Rupert Sanders.

A lot of fans still seem to be in shock at the break-up of "Parks and Recreation" s tar Amy Poehler and her actor husband Will Arnett. The pair often appeared together on screen and garnered a lot of fans who characterized them as a sweet, friendly couple. The pair have two young sons.

Well, I actually got to watch a part of the MTV VMAs because of PSY's appearance on the show. It was two hours of pure entertainment and amazing performances.

[Reporter : ] Yes, and it was so nice to see a Korean s tar on stage amongst all of the A-list musicians. Maybe PSY or another Korean artist will get an award there someday.

That'd be great. I hope that happens in the near future. And now to wrap things up, you have the events bulletin for us, right[Reporter : ] Yes, and today, I have a reminder for all of the music fans out there.
