Bae Doona wins best actress award for her role in 'A Girl at My Door' at Asian Film Awards

On March 25th, the 9th Asian Film Awars (AFA) took place in The Venetian Macao in Macau.

Asian Film Awards is part of Hong Kong International Film Festival and candidates are nominated among the films from Asian countries. Korean films were nominated in all categories this time.

Bae Doona from "A Girl at My Door", Gong Li from 'Coming Home', Vicki Zhao Wei from 'Deartest', Kalki Koechlin from 'Margarita, with a Straw', Rie Miyazawa from 'Pale Moon' and Tang Wei from 'The Golden Era' have been nominated for Best Actress.

"A Girl at My Door" starring Bae Doona, Song Sae-byeok, Kim Sae-ron described a dangerous decision by a girl who was exposed to violence. The film is director July Jung's first full length movie.
