Beautiful OST

Originally written by maverick arthouse director Kim Ki Duk, Beautiful paints the gripping psychological tale of a woman whose exceptional beauty makes her the object of unwanted lust and envy. In his feature-length debut, director Jeon Jae Hong (Mul Go Gi) who proudly carries the nickname "Little Kim Ki Duk", casts Cha Soo Yeon (For Eternal Hearts ) as the tragic heroine who suffers a mental breakdown after being raped by her stalker, blaming her beauty to be the cause of all her misery. Beautiful recently saw its world premiere in the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival's Panorama section, receiving rave reviews along with high praise for Cha's commanding performance.

Complementing the film's brooding and perturbing atmosphere is the film's soundtrack, fully supervised by musical director Noh Hyung Woo. Noh, a member of the prestigious film soundtrack production group Leading Tone, adds Beautiful to his already impressive resume which lists recognizable films and dramas like Shin Don, Le Grand Chef, and Time Between Dog And Wolf.
