The Chungmuro blue chip directors whose first movies have made big hits are acting as tow trucks for the revival of Korean movies. As "Transformers 3" has gathered 2,000,000 admissions in the weekend only, the Korean directors are preparing to strike back.

Jang Hoon

Director Jang Hoon appeared in Chungmuro like a comet with the 2008 movie "Rough Cut" and is looking forward to the release "The Front Line" on the 21st. He also displayed steady directing with actors Song Kang-ho and Gang Dong-won in the movie "Secret Union" last year.

"The Front Line" is Jang Hoon's third project and pushed forward the highlands where the Korean War saw its last as the main character. With 10 billion won invested, the cast includes Shin Ha-kyun, Ryu Seung-soo, Ko Chang-seok, Lee Je-hoon, Lee David, Kim Ok-vin and more.
