A member of boy band Big Bang has been found liable for the death of a motorcyclist last month.
Kang Daesung (22) was arrested after an accident on Yanghwa Bridge in northwestern Seoul in the early hours of May 31.
According to autopsy results released Friday, the victim, surnamed Hyun, had been lying on the ground for a little over two minutes after crashing into a lamppost when Kang's car hit him and dragged his body for over 20 m.
The victim was intoxicated at the time of the accident and Kang was sober, but he was driving his Audi sedan at 80 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
The K-Pop idol could face up to five years in prison or a fine of up to W20 million (US$1=W1,087).
