"Brain" records best ratings yet, taking over for "A Thousand Days' Promise"

According to the December 28th report from ratings agency AGB Nielsen Media Research the 14th episode of "Brain", broadcast on December 27th, recorded 15.5% of viewers (national average). This is a 1.8% increase from the 13th episode aired on December 26th, which took in 14.9% of viewers.

In the most recent episode, Kim Sang-cheol (Jeong Jin-yeong) came clean about surgery he performed on Lee Kang-hoon's (Shin Ha-gyoon) father in the past. Kang-hoon then warned Sang-cheol he would seek revenge, looking the other way while responsibility for an illegal clinical trial was dumped on him.

In this same time slot, MBC's "Lights and Shadows" (written by Choi Wan-gyoo, directed by Lee Joo-hwan) took in 14.1% of viewers and SBS's "Deep-rooted Tree" follow-up special recorded 6.7%.
