No. 1 drama in the country "Bread, Love and Dreams" [KBS]
KBS' baking drama "Bread, Love and Dreams" remained in first place in the race against other shows on weekly TV charts, grabbing its ninth consecutive win during the final week of August.
Data from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) and AGB Nielsen Media Research indicated that "Bread, Love and Dreams" scored viewership ratings of 44.4 percent and 42.8 percent, respectively, during the week of August 23 to 29.
"Bread, Love and Dreams", into its final four episodes, has also remained the top Wednesday and Thursday night primetime drama in the country for the 12th straight week.
KBS' weekend family drama "Marry Me, Please" maintained its position in second place with ratings of 26.6 percent and 26.9 percent on both charts.
However, TNmS' survey reported that KBS' variety program "Happy Sunday" came in third place with ratings of 26 percent, while AGB's poll revealed that the third most-watched show in the country was MBC's historical series "Dong Yi" with ratings of 24.7 percent.
