Hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Minister: Kim, Myeong-Kon) and the Korea Culture and Content Agency (KOCCA, CEO: Suh, Byung-Moon), the 2006 Korea Cartoon-Animation-Character Awards is now calling for the best cartoons, animations and characters.

Those who want to participate in the awards may download the application form on KOCCA's website ( Open the link ) from Nov. 8 to 10, 5 PM. All the specified requirements along with the fully accomplished application form should either be personally submitted or mailed.

Results will be announced in mid-November on KOCCA's website. The awarding ceremony will be held on Dec. 6 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Last year's Korea Cartoon-Animation-Character Award honored "The Great Catsby" (Kang, Do-Ha), King of Cards: MIXMASTER (Sun Woo Entertainment) and Pucca (VOOZ).
