SBS TV show "TV News At Night" introduced the case where Cha Noah's so-called real father approached Cha Seung-won and asked for 100 million won.
A reporter who interviewed Cha Seung-won's family in 1998 stated, "Cha Seung-won did admit that Cha Noah wasn't his son".
"Noah was only 7~8 years old then so he begged not to publish the story. I have kept my promise".
"However, we were shocked to hear the truth from someone who claims to be the real father".
Previously, a man claimed Cha Noah was his son and sued Cha Seung-won and his wife Lee Soo-jin for 100 million won in compensation.
When the story leaked on the 6th, Cha Seung-won claimed through his agency, "Cha Noah is a child from my heart. I don't regret the decision that I've made. The so-called 'father' dropped the charges on them the following day.
