UN, one of K-pop's most beloved duos regrettably announced their break up in September 2005. Giving all their devoted fans an overview of some of their greatest hits and more, here comes UN's final gift Goodbye & Best.

Filled with 14 songs overall, this album gives music lovers a comprehensive retrospective of their K-pop career since their debut in July 2000 and their smash hit Voice Mail. Among the duo's well remembered hits from their 4 albums are "To Her" (Track 6 - originally featured on Seventy Five Centimeter), "Farewell" (Track 11 - originally featured on Extreme Happiness), Remember (originally featured on Reunion), "Morning" (Track 14 - originally featured on Extreme Happiness), and "Afterwards..." (Track 12 - originally featured on Traveling You). What's more, the duo also presents 3 all-new songs, including the principal tune "Branches are Stable Now" (Track 1) and "Falling in Love" (Track 2). Offering their magic vocals for a special last time, UN may have never sounded better than on this farewell surprise!

지난 2005년 9월 해체된 인기 듀오 UN의 Good Bye & Best 앨범이 발매된다. 이번에 발매되는 Good Bye & Best 앨범은 지난 2000년부터 2005년까지의 국내 최정상의 남성 듀오로서 인기를 얻었던 UN의 지난 5년간을 정리한 앨범이다.

2000년 7월 1집 Voice Mail로 데뷔 한 후, 2005년 9월 해체까지 총 5장의 정규앨범과 1장의 스페셜 앨범을 발표, 국내 최고의 남성 듀오로서 꾸준한 인기를 얻었다. 2005년 5월 발매된 5집 [그녀에게]를 마지막으로 지난 9월 공식적으로 해체를 선언하여 UN을 좋아하는 많은 팬들에게 아쉬움을 안겨줬다.

이번 Good Bye & Best 앨범에는 5집 앨범 수록곡인 [그녀에게]를 비롯 [Remember], [작별] 등 UN의 히트곡을 새롭게 편곡하여 수록하였고, [가지 말아요], [사랑에 빠지다], [눈에 밟혀서] 등 미 발표곡 3곡을 포함, 총 14곡이 수록되어 있다.
앨범 타이틀인 미 발표곡 [가지말아요]는 UN의 1집부터 5집까지 프로듀서를 맡아 온 작곡가 최수정 씨가 작업했으며, 떠나간 연인을 그리워하는 마음을 담은 애틋한 곡이다. [사랑에 빠지다]는 작곡가 minuki가 작업하였으며, 전체적인 곡의 분위기가 UN의 보이스와 잘 맞아 듣기에 부담이 없는 편안한 곡이다. 마지막 미 발표곡인 [눈에 밟혀서]는 작곡가 최수정 씨의 곡으로 사랑하지만 헤어질 수 밖에 없는 연인에게 안타까운 마음을 전하는 곡이다.

UN의 갑작스러운 해체로 UN을 그리워하는 팬들에게는 아쉽지만 UN의 노래를 들을 수 있는 마지막 기회가 될 것 같다. 이번 Good Bye & Best 앨범은 UN의 활동을 정리하는 마지막 앨범인 만큼 한정수량으로 판매될 예정이다.

Please Bring Back UN !!!!!!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I finally opened my UN Vol.2-Traveling You package. To my surprise, Track 5 (Suhn mool, translated by other fans) is my long lost love. It disappeared when my computer crashed several years ago. This song is absolutely one of my top favorites! I'm so sorry that I didn't recognize that it was sang by UN. It was and still is K pop at its best with the exceptional and wonderfully written melody that was so well performed by UN. I can't think of any other group that could have done a better job. It was really Magic! Try to get it from the internet or friends
if you want to see what a wonderful duo UN is with their magnetic and captivating vocals.

I hope the UN executives or managers are reading this review even the chances are remote. Please have UN sing together when they are not busy with their acting projects. They sound so great together and it is such a waste and disappointment if they don't sing together again! I'll be one of the first to buy their new CD.

Underrated Duo... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
UN is a wonderful duo. Their striking good looks make people think that they can't sing. On the contrary, they have fantastic voices and singing skills that are much stronger and better than a lot of better known singers. Their singing might not be as smooth, in unison or polished as Sg Wannabe or M.C. The Max, but they are close to being excellent. The songs in this CD are relaxing. Their other CD, Sweet and Strong has better compositions and melodies. Since they are disbanded, yesterday I snapped up all 4 of their solo albums when they were available with the exception of Vol 1 which I should have gotten.

New songs Track 1-3 are very good.
Other songs are sweet & easy listening.
I love UN and wait JungHoon & JungWon come back to release their own album.

I am so gonna miss their music, they sound so good together, their voices I mean.... The new songs are good as usual but those unplugged versions don't sound too unplugged. I thought it might have been better if they've included live recordings instead. Cos I've heard them do a live rendition of Kangta's Polaris and it's really good. And I really do miss their pop-ish dance tracks
