Yoo and Kim joined the talent agency Stom E&F in 2005, but it went bankrupt and the two did not receive W600 million and W96 million they were owed in fees (US$1=W1,134).

The two sued broadcasters in 2010, but the TV stations appealed saying both the agency's creditors and the entertainers were separately demanding back pay.

The court said the broadcasters should pay the bankruptcy administrator, since the agency was the signatory to the contracts.
