The romantic comedy "Couples" started off fresh, landing in 3rd place on the first day of its release.

According to the Korean Films Council on November 3rd, "Couples", which was released on the 2nd, was viewed by 15,785 people on its first day in 272 theaters nationwide.

This movie, which talks about the love stories between five couples, was the first to be released among other romantic comedies like "You Pet", "Spellbound" and "Many A Little Romance", which will spill out into cinemas this fall. It also spread through word of mouth after media and preview sessions, making it even more anticipated.

First place at the box office is still "Punch", which is well known for its solid story and the excellent performance from the cast. Second was "Real Steel" followed by "In Time", "Only You" and "The Crucible".
