The Korea Communications Commission ordered a disciplinary action on the MBC TV morning drama "An Angel's Choice".
The KCC ruled during a general meeting that scenes that induce abortion and miscarriage during youth viewing protection time and revealing indirect advertisement was inappropriate.
The KCC pointed out, "Despite the fact that it's a drama, it is far too unethical for a regular viewer to agree to. Also by exposing indirect advertisement, it is stimulating the expectant mentality of a viewer".
The KCC also 'warned' the CBS radio program "Kim Mi-hwa and Everyone" for uncensored information broadcast of figure skating star Kim Yuna's teaching practice and university life, as well as unilateral statement of a fixed guest.
MBC TV "Joo Byeong-jin's Talk Concert" for the exposure of sponsored Makgolli, TV Chosun "Choi and Park's Talk" for the uncensored broadcast of foul language, JTBC sitcom "I Live in Cheongdam-dong" for detestable airing during family viewing time and "Golden Egg" for lewd subjects were also 'warned'.
MBC TV "News Desk" that delivered news of the protest visit to MBC by the 9 candidates and MP of the United Democratic Party, was 'advised' by the KCC for using terms like 'demanded confrontation', 'attempted entry to the chairman's office' and more.
