Fans Flock from Around World to Greet Rain on Release from Army

Over 700 fans from countries as widespread as China, Japan, Malaysia, Turkey and the U.S. came to Korea to greet K-pop star Rain when he was discharged from the army on Wednesday after completing 21 months of mandatory military service.

They showed up in the early hours to see him in front of the Defense Media Agency in Yongsan, Seoul. Some camped out overnight despite the rain to catch a glimpse of their idol. Rain saluted his fans and said, "I will work hard to show my best for everyone".
