YesAsia Editorial Description

Step to the beat of Fashion 70s!

Fashion 70s is an epic, sprawling drama, focusing on the lives of four young people, from their childhood during the Korean War, to their careers and love lives within the booming fashion world of the seventies. The drama stars stars Ju Jin Mo (Musa, Real Fiction), Lee Yo Won (Take Care of My Cat), Kim Min Jung (Flying Boys), and Jeon Jung Myung (My Love in Beijing). The Fashion 70s original soundtrack was produced by Lee Pil Ho, the music director of Emperor of the Sea. Music lovers can look forward to the theme "Even if My Heart is Broken" (Tracks 3 and 9) in two different versions sung by Fly To The Sky members Fany and Brian, respectively. Other recommendations include contributions from hip hop/R&B artist Bobby Kim (Track 5) and R&B vocalist Park Hwayobi (Track 8) as well as instrumental classics performed by the Orchestre National de France.

ftts continually amazes you... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
even when they only sing ONE song out of many songs on the soundtrack. i bought this ost only because of fly to the sky. i didn't like it when they went solo in their third album, since everyone knows their voices harmonizes sooo well. however, their solos of "kasumapado" are AMAZING. i'm a brian-fan since day one, but i've always felt fany had the better voice--stronger singer. i know brian imrpoved tremendously, esp in vol. 5-Gravity--you can honestly say that the two are finally at the same level. but now hearing the two versions of "kasumapado," i can say loud and clear that BRIAN'S VERSION WAS BETTER. don't get me wrong, i LOVE fany too, but when you compare the two, brian's version can truly possess a person. fany's version was good too, after all, he's a great singer...but brian's--no words can describe. hehe. i can listen to his version continually--day and night, night and day. it's no wonder fly to the sky is THE BEST group out there.

honestly I think fany's voice is a lot better in the song. I like Brian more but this song changed my mind because of fany's voice in this song. So amazing...

Can't wait for tv series to come out Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
First time i've ever bought an OST album before watching the movie or tv series. Must admit it's all because of Fly To The Sky. They've always put in 100% in every song they sing. And this was no different. But because they went solo here, fans may find it hard not to compare the two, especially since they went solo on the same song! It's even quite probable that fans of Fany will switch sides. Brian's version really brought out the sweetness of his voice. It fits so well with the piano and string arrangement and though many FTTS fans say Fany has the better and more powerful voice, i tell them, listen to the version sung by Brian. His is the voice you will never tire of. He imbues the song with just the right amount of emotion, any more would have made it soppy. And he's so good with that throaty growl which he uses to punctuate certain words... wish i knew korean. I also liked the tracks by Bobby Kim. He has perfect control of that unique voice, no wonder he's called the king of korean hiphop. Track 15 also mesmerises me. It's very Irish, with a whimsical lilt and an ephemeral quality that makes it rather haunting. All the instrumental tracks are also really good - tight, very well put-together and spanning a range of genres. This OST has really got me hugging the edge of my seat, waiting in suspense for the tv series!

You Won't Regret Buying It! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a great OST featuring some of my favorites like, Fly to the Sky, Bobby Kim, and Park Hwayobi. Each of them add different dimension to the songs that make up this OST as their styles differ yet compliment the other.
