British actor Colin Firth and Australian actress Nicole Kidman will join the cast of Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook's English-language debut film, 'Stoker'.
Park has been concentrating on creating a mainstream Hollywood film since his last Korean feature film, "Thirst", in 2009. The plot of the new film is heavily shrouded in secrecy, but is aid to revolve around a girl who reconnects with her uncle after the death of her father.
Colin Firth is set to play the role of the uncle, with Mia Wasikowska tagged for the role of the niece. The script was written by Wentworth Miller, whose best known work is writing for the U.S. drama series "Prison Break". The release date hasn't yet been decided, but production is likely to begin this summer.
