Love and dance collide in the hit coming-of-age film Flying Boys! Yoon Kye Sang of the popular group GOD makes his screen debut as Min Jae, a young man in his last year of high school who finds love in a most surprising place. Min Jae has long adored Soo Jin (Kim Min Jung of Bus Stop), who lives in the same apartment complex, but Min Jae fears approaching her because he's not sure he'll be able to take the rejection.

But Min Jae and Soo Jin are soon thrown together in the most unlikely of places: ballet school! A ballet teacher blackmails Min Jae and his friends into attending his class, where Min Jae meets the also unwilling-to-attend Soo Jin. A cast of oddball characters populates the class, and neither Min Jae nor Soo Jin any interest in actually learning to dance. But the experience allows them to witness some of life's small joys and minor defeats, and brings them closer to growing up...and perhaps each other.

Directed by Byun Jung Joo (Ardor), Flying Boys is an affectionate and winning look at teens learning to spread their wings and fly - in ballet shoes.

    덕분에 수강생 모집에 혈안이 된 푼수발레강사 양정숙, 가여운 희생양 강민재와 친구 따라 강남 간 장동완, 친구 지키겠다고 앞장 선 이창섭까지 세 마리 토끼를 한방에 잡다!

    여기에 비슷한 타이밍으로 같은 반 동성칭구에게 사랑고백을 받던 털털한 여고생 황보수진, 엄마에게 걸려 여성성 신장이라는 강력한 캐치프레이드 아래 어거지로 구민회관 발레강좌에 등록당하다!

    중 2때부터 황보수진을 짝사랑해오던 강민재, 인생사 새옹지마라고 구립발레교습소에서 황보수진과 제대로 만난 것까진 좋았는데.. 제비출신의 늙수그레 아저씨 배도일에 중국집 배달원 엄종석, 야쿠르트 아줌마 오향자까지.. 발레강좌 포지션이 만만치 않다. 항공대 가라는 아버지에, 뭘 어째야 할지도 모르겠는 대학입시에, 역시나 문제투성이인 친구들 창섭과 동완에, 멀게만 느껴지는 황보수진에, 눈에 밟히는 일진출신 소년가장 김기태까지 걸리는 일 태산인데..게다가 발레공연까지 한단다.

    I really waited for this movie to go on sale because for whatever reason, i really wanted to watch this movie and i expected too much from this film. I really like Lee Joons Ki tough. I bit of comedy here and there.

    this is an amazing movie. i was just looking around for movies and saw this, so i decided to buy it. i had some doubts about this movie tho, so its been about a month since i actually bought it. i decided to watch it, and the emotion, depth, and story of this movie just really amazed me. i hadn't really expected much out of it, but it really portrayed the trials of growing up and setting out on your own for the first time.



    when i found out that it was yoon kye sang's first movie, i was surprised. his ability to really show the emotion of his character is magnificent, and he became his character so well. the rest of the cast also did a wonderful job in portraying their characters.



    i highly recommend this movie for anyone looking for a moving drama.

    At first I kind of hesitated to watch this movie (let’s just say I had this movie for a while). A movie like this is not my kind of movie but as I sat there patiently and watched it I was surprised how good KyeSung was. Unlike other singer’s who goes into acting and can’t act, KyeSung is actually really good. ^__^ as for the story line I thought it was pretty much laid out and the facts about growing up and all are so true. Anyway I give this movie a 10 because it deserves a 10.

    i wuz really excited to watch flying boys cuz kye sang wuz in it.. if i had to decide according to the storyline, i'd give it a 8 or 7. i wasn't that interested in the story line. but it wuz fun to see how good kyesang wuz as an actor. he's a great singer in g.O.d.!! i luv u g.O.d.!!! sarranghae!
