Park Jae-beom (Jay Park), formerly a member of boy band 2PM, claimed fourth place on the Billboard World Albums Chart with his latest album "New Breed" on Sunday.
The singer, better known as Jay Park in the U.S., is making his second appearance on the chart following last year's entry with his mini-album, "Take A Deeper Look".
All the lyrics on the album, which he has not actively started promoting yet, were written in Korean -- adding to the significance of his feat. "New Breed" also ranked 16th on the Heatseekers Albums chart.
Park will hold his first solo concert on March 3 in Seoul.
