Idol group FT Island's first album in Japan entitled "Five Treasure Island" ranked atop the Oricon daily chart on May 18, which was the very day that the album was released.

Their agency FNC Music said on May 19, "FT Island's first album in Japan was ranked at first place on the Oricon daily chart. It is a big achievement once again since last year when they released their first single entitled 'Flower Rock' and it ranked in fourth place on the Oricon daily single chart". According to the agency, members from FT Island had been holding a commemorative event to celebrate their first album release at Tokyo Yomiuri Land Open Theater on May 18 when they heard the news that their album ranked atop the chart, and they shared their joy with more than 5,000 fans together. During the event, members showcased songs such as "Mirai", "Yume", "Rock'n'roll" and the theme song of the TBS drama "Muscle Girl", in which group member Lee Hong Ki appears as the protagonist. FT Island said, "I cannot believe that we ranked atop the chart. We will continue to do our best for better music and better performances". They will release their official album entitled " Return " in Korea on May 24.
