Generation Blue Films, a small production house founded in 1998 with the goal of producing films in a manner different from the mainstream commercial system, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with a special film festival.
Over the years, the company has helped to introduce many important new directors and has provided an environment where filmmakers can feel free to experiment.
To be held at the Seoul Art Cinema near the south end of Insa-dong, the festival will feature 16 short films and 10 feature films that were produced or coproduced by Generation Blue Films. It is scheduled to run from December 5 to 14.
Imaginative independent films come to Seoul 2008/11/27 (Source) Under the slogan "Storm of imagination", the 34th Seoul Independent Film Festival (SIFF) will showcase a variety of independent cinema with a focus on Korean independent films. The festival will be hosted at IndieSpace film house in central Seoul from December 11 to the 19th.
