Han Da-gam not to star as the First Lady

Actress Han Da-gam isn't going to star in the movie "First Lady", the life movie of the late Yook Yoeng-soo.

It was decided in June last year that Han Da-gam was taking on the role of Lady Yook Yeong-soo in "First Lady".

Han Da-gam also appeared at the premiering event of "First Lady" in November.

The reason for her falling through is because of the delay in filming the movie despite it being 3 months since the signing of contract.

"First Lady" is a movie about President Park Geun-hye's mother Yook Yeong-soo's life. Han Da-gam and Kam Woo-sung were cast for the roles of Yook Yeong-soo and the late president Park Jeong-hee. Other casts included Jung Han-yong, Jung Woon-taek, Kim Dong-jun from ZEA and others.

However, the delay in schedule continues and speculations arise if the movie will ever start filming at all.

The target date for "First Lady" was to start shooting at the end of July in 2012 and be released on the 15th of August this year in time for Yook Yeong-soo's day of death. However, Kam Woo-sung's falling through with the movie was the start of its misfortune.
