"South Korea's Quest to Be a Major Space Power"

It's another small step for Korea's space ambitions as the Korea Multipurpose Satellite-3A (Arirang-3A) was successfully launched this past Thursday from its launch site in Russia. The satellite was said to cost KARI (the Korea Aerospace Research Institute) around $208 million, but will allow the country to directly monitor the peninsula 24 hours, without interruption.

"South Korea to invest $5b by 2020 in IoT and smart cars"

Korea is fittingly, and seriously, investing in 'smart cars' (according to South Korea's Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning and the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy), and plans to pump around $5 billion into this and other ideas by 2020.
