IU explained about getting Jiyeon a fake branded bag.
She appeared in the SBS TV program "Kang Heart" and said, "There was a fashion style recently that became an issue at the airport. It was that I was holding a branded backpack. I only knew that was a branded bag after I read the article".
After having received a set of underwear for her birthday from T-ara's Jiyeon, IU went to Dong Dae-moon to find a present for Jiyeon.
"She said she needed a bag so I bought two bags in green and orange to use as a couple look for only 60 thousand won. It turned out to be they were imitations of a branded bag and I am sorry I gave her something like that without knowing".
