Jang Dong-gun Donates 12 Mln Won to Japanese Charity Auction

At a charity auction organized by a Korean home shopping company and a Japanese broadcasting station, sales of 20 items presented by top-star Jang Dong-gun reached a price of 1.18 million yen (about 18.82 million won). A total of 60 Japanese visitors selected through a drawing participated in the auction.

This charity auction, the second of its kind following a first auction on Dec. 29, was organized by the entertainment charity group "Ttasamo" (meaning "a club of warmhearted people") and a Korean home shopping company.

In the first auction, Jang Dong-gun had presented a total of 34 items, earning 14 million won.
