The KBS 2TV drama "Land of wind" was sold to Japan at a price higher than past purchases for previous KBS dramas.
"We signed the contracts with Japan's biggest distributor, Pony Canyon, at the 'Broadcast Worldwide Exhibition & Conference (BCWW)' which opened on the 3rd", said a representative from KBS. "We can't reveal the exact price, but it is the greatest amount that has ever been paid for the export of a KBS program".
Starring Song Il-gook, "Land of wind" is a historical drama about the life of a Goguryeo king, Mu Hyul. Its first broadcast is on Sept. 10th and it will replace the drama "Korean Ghost Stories".
Tonight, a special program called "'Land of wind' Special" will be broadcast covering the 45 days that the cast and crew spent in China for filming.
