Jeon Do-yeon to star as AIDS patient in new film

A film production company said Nov. 11 that in director Park Jae-pyo's new movie tentatively titled "You are My Fate", actress Jeon Do-yeon will play an AIDS patient and actor Hwang Jung-min will perform an old bachelor who loves Jeon.

In his previous work "Too Young To Die", director Park described a beautiful love story of an elderly couple in their 70s. In his new film "You are My Fate", Park will feature an unusual love story between AIDS woman Eunha and old bachelor Seokjung who loves her.

In the film, Eunha, performed by Jeon Do-yeon, has scars inflicted in the name of love and hesitates to accept Seokjung because she doesn't believe in love. However, Eunha realizes that Seokjung genuinely loves her and carefully begins to open up her mind.

Seokjung. Played by Hwang Jung-min, is an innocent old bachelor who has never fallen in love. Although his first love contracts AIDS, he sacrifices all he has to protect the love.

The film portrays a woman who feels sorry for being loved and a man who sacrifices what he has without hesitation for love. The film will be shot beginning in early next year and be released in the fall of next year.
