Actor Jeong Tae-woo (29) is joining the army today.
Jeong Tae-woo will join the 306 training base this afternoon and receive training, then stand duty as a full time soldier.
A full time reserve duty is done for two years after basic training and the soldier travels from home everyday. According to the regulations of national service, a married man with a child is firstly applicable to this position. Jeong Tae-woo got married last 2009 in May and has a wife and kid.
Jeong Tae-woo spent some time with family after the KBS drama "Gwanggaeto the Great". He took on the role of Dam-deok's (Lee Tae-gon) elder brother and was naturally removed from the show with the character's death.
He has been active in dramas including "Gwanggaetto the Great" and MBC's "Twinkle Twinkle".
