Eleven years after he entered the entertainment industry, Jo Kwon from 2AM will at last release a solo album on June 25.
One week prior to the release, the leader of the quartet boy band will leak some preview tracks online in order to generate buzz for the album.
Big Hit Entertainment, the agency behind Jo Kwon's solo endeavors, said that Jo will take on a new persona, or two, as a soloist.
"We have prepared two different visual concepts for Jo Kwon to coincide with the preview tracks and the album", a representative from Big Hit Entertainment said.
As part of the ballad-singing boy band 2AM, Jo has had his share of the limelight.
The band released its EP "F. Scott Fitzgerald's Way of Love" on March 12.
The title track "Are You Hurting Like Me" was the No. 1 song on various music charts in the nation, including the Korean Billboard Chart.
