JTBC drama "Syndrome" should be airing soon enough, after the drama "Padam Padam... The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats" ends.

"Syndrome" is a medical drama based in a neurosurgery department. The main cast will include Han Hye-jin and Park Gun-hyung and has finished shooting its first scene.

Han Hye-jin will take on the role of resident neurosurgeon Lee Hae-jo. She is from a rural college and is a smart doctor who has a passion to become the best. Han Hye-jin had to cut her hair for this role.

Song Chang-eui is Cha Yeo-wook, who is the same as her but from a high quality college. He is the grandson of the Hangook General Hospital chairman and nothing is holding him back from becoming the best doctor.

Park Gun-hyung is the chief of neurosurgery Kang Eun-hyeon. They will form a love triangle in the series.

"Syndrome" won't be able to help but be compared to "Brain", which is highly popular and has given Shin Ha-kyun the Grand Prize for acting. I Will Media showed confidence saying, "We will display surgical images and the passion as well as the humanity of the doctors. It might not help us to avoid being compared with 'Brain" but we won't fall back in interest".

"Syndrome" will be broadcasted on the 13th of February after "Padam Padam... The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats".
