"I AM." starring the hottest artists from SM Entertainment including BoA, Girls' Generation, TVXQ and Super Junior held its world premiere in Japan on June 2nd.
In its opening week, the star-studded film garnered a 90.9% rating, the highest score among news releases.
The screening was early in the morning at 9 a.m. but it didn't stop scores of fans from camping out in long lines outside a Shinjuku theater.
The movie grossed over US$750,000 on day two of release. It's great to see SM singers leading K-pop wave on both big and small screens.

U.S. music magazine "Spin" has lately released "The 21 Greatest K-Pop Songs of All Time" with H.O.T'.s "Candy" topping the list.
The famed magazine claims they chose H.O.T. because the boy band "ushered in the idol cult that's propelled Korean pop cultural product".
It looks like the legendary band is still going strong even after all these years.
