Kang Soo-yeon to Head Jury at Int'l Short Film Fest

Actress Kang Soo-yeon, 45, has been appointed to chair the jury at the 9th Asiana International Short Film Festival in Seoul in November.

The festival, sponsored by Asiana Airlines and Seoul City, will be held at CineCube in Gwanghwamun for six days from Nov. 2. A total of 2,173 films from 90 countries have been submitted in the international competition category.

Kang has received best actress awards at several international film festivals, including Venice and Moscow. She has also served as a juror at the Busan and Montreal international film festivals in previous years.
