KBS placed a ban on MC Mong, Shin Jung-hwan, Kim Sung-min, and Crown J, who had recently stirred significant criticism.

KBS announced on December 10 that they had decided to ban those entertainers through a council meeting held on December 8. The decision to restrict their appearance on KBS was made because MC Mong has been suspected of dodging his required military duty, Shin Jung-hwan was charged with gambling, and Kim Sung-min and Crown J were charged with illicit drug use. Once they are banned on KBS, they cannot appear on any program even through film footage.

But the decision to ban MC Mong and Shin Jung-hwan was exceptional because MC Mong's trial is still due to be held in March and Shin Jung-hwan has fled overseas without being investigated by the police. A person in the KBS council said, "We decided to ban all those entertainers because they could ruin the reliability of broadcasting. If someone is acquitted or has enough time for self-restraint and self-reflection, we can lift the ban".

By adding those four entertainers, KBS has come to ban a total of 22 entertainers. KBS places a ban on entertainers who have aroused social criticism with immoral or illegal behavior through a decision made by council meeting.
