KBS's "Golden Bat" and other programs nominated for the Asian TV Awards

Three KBS programs, including the documentary Solve the Mystery: Golden Bats, have advanced to the selection finals of the 2006 Asian TV Awards.

"The HD documentary, Solve the Mystery: Golden Bats, the special documentary Seven People Who Made Rain, and a drama "Damned Love" were nominated for the Asian TV Awards' Natural Documentary, Special Entertainment, and Drama Series categories, respectively", KBS announced on Oct. 10.

Hosted by Singapore-based magazine Television Asia and sponsored by the Singapore Media Development Agency (MDA) and the Philippines's ABS-CBN Broadcasting, this international award gives prizes in 33 categories, including drama, entertainment, and documentary.

The results of the awards will be announced at the awarding ceremony of "Selection! Singapore" in Singapore on Nov. 30.
