Korean singer Kim Dong-wan [The J Story]
Shinhwa member Kim Dong-wan, who is currently serving his mandatory two year military service, will hold a fan meeting in Korea next month.
A press release from PR firm The J Story announced Monday that Kim will hold a fan meet-and-greet at Sangmyung University's Sangmyung Art Center on December 9, two days after he is discharged from the military#.
Meanwhile, Kim is also preparing for the release of his solo album "KIM DONGHWAN JAPAN PREMIUM BEST" which will be released on December 15 followed by a fan meeting in Tokyo three days later.
"First off, I wanted to resume my singing career by meeting with people who have waited two years for my return. I hope that many fans show up for the event and I will work hard to show my best in the future", Kim was quoted as saying.
Kim will also sign with agency Live Works Company, who is in charge of managing fellow Shinhwa member Shin Hye-sung and songstress Sunmin.
Making his debut in 1998 as one of the lead singers in the six-member boy band Shinhwa, Kim has also expanded his career into acting, appearing in several dramas including "A Farewell to Sorrow" (KBS, 2005) and "My Dearest Love" (SBS, 2007) and movie "Spin Kick" (2004).
Tickets for his fan meeting will be available on online reservation site Yes24 on November 19.
