He posted on his Facebook, "I can't help but like "Reply 1997" as I am a fan of the past. The detail and performance of the cast makes me wait anxiously for Tuesday nights".

He continued, "The background music and the ones they play shows how much thought they've put into it. They are all music I miss about the past when we didn't have auto-tunes and makes me think, 'ah, this song'. I sing along to the ones I remember and I don't think I was the only one who was happy to hear the song, "Goodbye Now" in one of the scenes".

He said, "Sometimes when my music plays I get embarrassed. It feels like I am a cameo in the drama and I am looking at me. I snap out of it and come back to reality".

Netizens say, "I didn't know you were a fan", "I think it'll feel weird to hear your song in a drama" and more.

"Reply 1997" is a retro drama based in the 1990's in Busan when H.O.T and Sechs Kies represented the generation.
