Two cold glares of two top stars in Korea, Kim Ha-neul and Song Yoon-ah, will be cooling people off this summer as the two actresses compete for the honor of "Horror Queen". Song Yoon-ah in "Face"

Song showed her possibilities of being the horror queen through the drama "Gumiho" and now acts the role of Chung Sun-young, an anthropologist from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation in the movie "Face". The common saying that "people with big eyes are timid" doesn't seem to suit Song. As a horror movie fan, Song had fun all through the filming teasing Shin Hyun-jun, her partner in the movie who, in fact, is easily frightened. The poster with Song's white face was rejected down for use in subways because it was "so scary that it might arouse anxiety to the passengers". Song's piercing eyes fascinated the buyers at the Cannes market and succeeded in getting sales of W1.2 billion before its release.

Kim Ha-neul in "Ryoung"

Selected as the "most anticipated horror film this summer" in several surveys conducted Korean Internet users, "Ryoung" stimulates curiosity while being known as a film about "water". The piercing eyes on the teaser previews, posters and web site that have been released from April made Internet users shudder. Unlike Song, Kim cannot watch a horror film through to the end by herself. Kim was even terrified with her own makeup and screamed at herself. She was even "scolded" that "your screaming is much scarier". Kim plays the part of Ji-won, a college student who meets the death of her friends in the process of finding her memories. The main poster that was recently released announces the coming of the "new horror queen".

"Ryoung" already finished its exporting contracts with 12 countries including Taiwan, Thailand, Scandinavia, and Hong Kong, and made W1.5 billion profits at Cannes.
