Kim Hyun-joong's love for the fans

Kim Hyun-joong is well known for his utmost love for his fans.

He is going to have his first fan meeting at the Seoul Jamsil Indoor Stadium on the 21st of January. However, the entrance fee is only KRW20,000.

Typically, fan meetings are free but only in the case of small-scale ones. Kim Hyun-joong's fan meeting is in a mass-sized arena that fits 7,000 people.

Not only that, unlike other talk-show fan meetings, Kim Hyun-joong will be performing about 10 songs including his first mini-album "Break Down" and the second "Lucky". This is actually like an exclusive concert.

Including sound and lighting systems, local singers often charge an entrance fee of about KRW50,000 to 90,000. However, Kim Hyun-joong's concert is not even half that, which might cause a loss if not careful.

Kang In-seok, from the Key East Entertainment album marketing department, said, "It's actually close to a concert but we have decided to go along with it as a fan meeting at the request of Kim Hyun-joong himself. We won't be making much money but it'll be more like fan service".

This fan meeting event was also decided upon out of the blue, the reason being that Kim Hyun-joong might be in Japan for New Years Day for promotions, which could disappoint domestic fans. So, his first plan of the New Year is to meet with them.

This is not all of his love for fans. He was offered a big amount of money for promoting a product with a company but he refused. Kang said, "Kim Hyun-joong claimed he couldn't make fans spend money for his benefit".

Kim Hyun-joong has been known for being a unique character since his debut with SS501. Now that he's a star, he still hasn't lost that color and is grateful to the fans who made him what he is today.

Kang stuck up his thumbs and said, "There are many unfortunate factors from the company's point of view as we need to pursue profits, but looking at it as a 'man', it's awesome".

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun-joong was once known for donating KRW1 billion to the Red Cross without his company knowing. Unlike other stars whho promote their good deeds through media; Kim Hyun-joong's actions are for him only.

As Bae Yong-joon is the chairman of Key East and the original Hallyu star, Kim Hyun-joong's love for fans is making him cry.
