MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Such a Close Traitor" is a father-daughter thriller drama in which Korea's best profiler Jang Tae-soo (Han Suk-kyu) faces his daughter's secret related to the murder case under investigation and desperately collapses to pursue the truth in the abyss.

Kim Jeong-jin plays the role of runaway family leader Choi Yeong-min, who can't control his emotions and acts impulsively in the drama. Kim Jeong-jin, who will portray the character with a strong impact in a dense way, is drawing attention to his new acting transformation.

Actor Kim Jeong-jin debuted in the 2022 movie "Christmas Carol". Despite being a rookie, he has developed his acting skills step by step by step by appearing in dramas "Taxi Driver 2", "Decoy", and "Revenant", showing his stable acting skills and solid presence.

In the Coupang Play series "Once Upon a Boyhood" which aired last year, he played the role of Yang Cheol-hong, the leader of the Buyeo Nong High School gang. Although Kim Jeong-jin is a typical example of 'strong-weak and weak-strong', he completed the character with a sloppy charm despite his rough appearance and was loved by many viewers. In particular, he received countless favorable reviews for his detailed character digestion, including his cool dialect acting, his half-shaved hairstyle, and his free-spirited attire.

Attention is already focusing on how much Kim Jeong-jin, who has been continuing his solid acting career with such a clear impression, will show his strong charm in the next work, "Such a Close Traitor".

Meanwhile, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Such a Close Traitor" which Kim Jeong-jin is scheduled to appear in, is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
