Actor Kim Joon-seong, who plays the first love of lead actress Tang Wei in the Korean film "Late Autumn - 2010", is drawing attention with his unusual background.
Kim grew up in Hong Kong and then majored in philosophy and economics at Wake Forest University in the U.S. With a strong command of English, Chinese and Korean, Kim worked as fund manager, earning large sums at the Hong Kong branch of ABN AMRO before he made his way into the entertainment industry in 2001.
He had steadily worked to build his acting career, landing major roles in films such as "Love Exposure" and "West 32nd" and the TV drama "Lobbyist". But after shooting "The Scam" in 2009, he moved to Hollywood and appeared in the films "The Forgotten" and "White on Rice".
In his new movie "Late Autumn - 2010", Kim caught viewers' eyes with his natural acting style and fluent Chinese, which made many think he is Chinese American. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is seeking to make it big in Hollywood.
