Kim Ki-duk's "3-Iron" to be shown in Germany

The movie "3-Iron" (directed by Kim Ki-duk), which received rave reviews at the 2004 Venice Film Festival, will be shown at 44 theaters in 35 German cities Aug. 11-17.

Kim Ki-duk is well-known in Germany for his previous movies "Samaria", which earned him the Best Director award at the 2004 Berlin Film Festival, and "Bad Guy", which drew significant attention at the 2002 Berlin festival.

"3-Iron" was introduced in the latest edition of the famous German magazine "Der Spiegel", which described it as "gentle and at the same time containing several violent and rough scenes, which is the unique characteristic of Kim's works".
