The backlash towards actress Kim Tae-hee in the Japanese Fuji TV drama "99 Days With the Star" is very strong. The netizens who used to attack her online for stating that Dokdo was part of South Korean, suddenly started to pour out on the streets in riot.

The Japanese netizen 'Yuh' who incited this riot, forewarned on his homepage that there was going to be a riot in Tokiwabashi Park in Chiyodagu, Tokyo on the 15th at 2PM with the message saying, "Let's all protest against the drama with Fuji TV anti-Japanese actress Kim Tae-hee".

Looking at the video taken of the riot posted on You Tube by Japanese netizen 'patrijapan', hundreds of people are rioting on the streets yelling, "Explain your anti-Japanese statement Kim Tae-hee!", "Kim Tae-hee, don't' make business in Japan if you don't like it!", "We will remember the Japanese company who supported the anti-Japanese actress Kim Tae-hee" and more.

'patrijapan' states that 550 people signed up for this and marched along the streets for an hour and 20,000 supporters were cheering on them in live time.

The reason they are attacking Kim Tae-hee is simple. It's because she has once been part of an anti-Japanese activity in April 2005, when she visited Switzerland with her brother Lee Wan, wearing a T-shirt that claimed Dokdo was Korean and handing out CD's related to this. The Japanese are protesting how such an actress could be on Japanese TV as the lead actress.

The internet opinions all differ.

Major community '2CH' was very aggressive about this and said, "The actress who used to criticize Japan and is now here to make money and the company who hired this very actress both need to be criticized". However certain Japanese say, "The protesters are weird people, how could they just attack one actress even though they are jealous of Hallyu? It's sad to think they've lost their heads in jealousy".
