[Interview : Debbie Won/ Reporter] "Well as you can see K-POP is truly becoming a hot issue here in the United States and the popularity of the Idol Group is growing especially fast among the American fans. Today I'm here in Hollywood to meet with someone the most devoted fans of K-POP".

On July 6th, Los Angeles began to rumble for K-Pop.

On this day, 70 self-proclaimed K-pop lovers gathered to make their wish come true.

[Interview : Karina Aguitte/ K-POP Fan] "I was looking at the internet, because i was going to create a page myself and then I saw it so I just like you know i want to help".

[Interview : Victoria/ K-POP Fan] "Anna found it out for me. She was on Facebook and then she randomly called all of us. She was like, "Oh My God there is a flashmob!" So yeah. "

Flash mob is a quick and easy way to send a message, but this group chose this method to convey a special message.

This past April, Hallyu fans in Paris had actually succeeded in extending a K-pop tour through a flash mob demonstration.

This fan's devotion to Korean idol groups led him to personally draw out dance moves to teach the flash mob! It's amazing!

The group comes together to coordinate the dance moves that they learned individually. They try their best to show off their skills!

The flash mob in LA was also coordinated with another flash mob in New-York! Why these fans so passionate about K-POP

[Interview : Corina/ K-POP Fan] "I guess that people in America, they don't seem as. like as a team

[Interview : Ashiey Goodleh/ K-POP Fan] "K-POP is like is better than American Pop. They talk about really nice things and I like their outfits and stuffs is and then they come in groups and stuff I love it so much. It's really cool".

It's 2 o'clock, the preset time. Everyone begins to dance, thinking of their favorite idol stars!

Such fun demonstrations by K-pop lovers have become a new Hallyu cultural icon!

With the help of internet sites like Youtube, K-POP continues to spread throughout the world, bringing fans together through Flash mobs. . This truly reflects the power of Korean idol groups.

[Interview : Johnny Noh / K-POP Expert 6 Theory Media/ allkpop.com] " K-POP is very a visual art and addition to that the strong calligraphy and the Idols they just all beautiful people so I think there is enough that it is similar but at the same time it's very unique and different. That is part of the reason why I think K-POP is very popular among the US audience and they are just consuming constantly".

[Interview : Debbie Won/ Reporter] "Here we are at Ambor's house one of the die hard K-pop fans in the United States. Let's go talk to Ambor in a front. So talk about love for K-pop"

Amber and her friends say that their favorite Korean idol group is TVXQ.

It's obvious from their performance that they've practiced hard!

[Interview : Amber Goodleh/ K-POP Fan] "TVXQ first, I love TVXQ they are like my favorite group. I have my Big Bang, my G-Dragon, SHINNee Live ConcertSo this was free and then Seungghi Album and i really like their umm.. their Soap opera. Here is "You Are Beautiful" my favorite~ so fun and then here is SHINNee. I love SHINNee. Um, this album is amazing. Just to say".

Korean singers are hard to see on TV, let alone in person overseas~ the fans say that they're glad to at least have a Koreatown nearby.

Even though they don't speak Korean, world fans of K-pop still keep up with all the latest information about new albums.

[Interview : Roy Choi, CEO/ K-POP Expert Kollaboration] "Even though Korean websites, the websites are the record company, their websites are in English now. So fans can take a look. See updates on their favorite artiest and they are creating fan pages on facebook. So really the internet is all kinds of information available to fans around the world".

The K-POP fans' devotion began with the Internet. In particular, social networking services played a big part in creating a global K-pop fan base.

Fan pages operated by global fans help to unite K-pop fans overseas, by utilizing local languages.

[Interview : Omar Alonso/ K-POP Fan] " All K-POP and Daily K-POP News where I usually get my pictures, news, teasers of music videos and actual music videos, concerts and it's easier to talk with people about future advance what's going to happen in that area like flash mobs or just places like hang out to do in L.A".

One of the flash mob participants, Omar uses his talent to express his love for Girls' Generation.

[Interview : ] "What I'm want to do with it, I want to put random K-pop TV version of groups I like. I started with " " because they are the best".

Omar says that he even studies Korean to prepare for the day he will meets Girls' Generation in person. We hope the flash mob is a success!

[Interview : Roy Choi, CEO/ K-POP Expert Kollaboration] " One concern with Korean music industry is maintaining popularity of K-pop and Korean music. I think couple of ways they to do that is just to make sure that the music evolves with fans' taste. And easy to say and you know hard to do".

Global fans of Korean idol groups are bringing a new wave to the K-pop boom! Their enthusiasm has created another fan culture in which fans not only enjoy their favorite stars' music, but also know when and how to ask for more.

Wow what a great way to get fans together too.
Apparently Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Columbia, Spain, Thailand, the Philippines they've all had flash mobs too.
I was actually thinking of joining a flash mob here in Seoul.
There have been a few.
Really There was a freeze flash mob recently in Insadong. But I couldnt' go.
Well there's always next time for a public performance.
